Jesus, the Head of the Church, in his last instructions to His disciples before leaving earth, commanded, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.” (Mark 16:15-16). The church is responsible to preach (proclaim) the gospel (Good News of Jesus) to everyone everywhere. We are responsible to bring people to Jesus. We are responsible to win souls!
Here at World Harvest Outreach Church, we take these instructions seriously, and that is what Outreach is all about. As we bring people to Jesus, we are plundering hell and populating heaven!
We have two main thrusts in our outreach to others:
- Local Outreaches: our outreach to the local community here in the greater Austin area, and
- World Outreaches: our outreach to the world through missions.
